It  is solid stainless steel, 18×0.375in (457×9.5mm) L x Dia with T-Handle and used as an electrode in soil resistivity testing with the Wenner 4-pin method.

It can be used with the Analog or Digital Soil Resistance Meters

The T-handle and pointed tip make penetration of dense soils easy.
