SOIL COMPACTION MOULDS
Compaction moulds are used for soil compaction testing. These rugged proctor moulds comply with numerous test specifications including the Proctor Compaction Test, California Bearing Ratio (CBR), and Limerock Bearing Ratio (LBR) tests.
Moulds are constructed of clear plated steel for maximum rust resistance. Compaction moulds are available as complete sets or sold as individual components.
For the extrusion of soil specimens from the mould, the Universal Specimen Extruder may be used.
CBR MOULDS & ACCESSORIES
The CBR – California Bearing Ratio – method is used for the laboratory evaluation of subgrade and subbase coarse materials in road construction.
The apparatus comprises moulds with accessories, compaction rammers (the automatic models are the same used for the compaction of Proctor moulds).

Moulds and rammers are used for determining the relationship between the moisture content and density of compacted soil.
Made of plated steel, includes collar, mould body and base plate.
Rammers are used to compact the soil sample in the Proctor Moulds and made of plated steel.
